Contest entry for the Summer 2018 Design Contest

Designer/Entrant: Vegard Farstad

Nim is a "solved" game with a winning strategy, but it's not so easy to find it if you play with many pieces, and it's a great game for learning to think strategically.

PLAYERS: 2

COMPONENTS: As many of the cubes as you wish

DESIGNER: Unknown. Nim is an ancient, traditional game played with stones, coins or other counters.

RULES (this version written by Vegard Farstad)

One player picks any number of cubes and places them in heaps, deciding the number of heaps and the number of cubes in each heap. The other player makes the first move.

In turn, each player takes one or more cube(s) from (only) one of the heaps. The winner is the player who makes the last move, so there are no cubes left afterwards.
